St. Michael’s School, established in 1927 in the heart of the coastal scenic city of Karwar in North Karnataka, India, has a rich history of fostering well-educated, socially responsible, culturally enriched, and intellectually productive citizens.
History and Mission
St. Michael’s School, founded in 1927, has a long-standing tradition of providing quality education. The school aims to nurture socially responsible individuals who contribute positively to society.
Leadership and Affiliation
The school is guided by the Religious Sisters of the CCR institute (Congregation of Carmelites Religious), renowned for their dedication to quality education. With over a century of experience, the sisters oversee more than 60 educational institutions across India, ensuring high standards of education.
Curriculum and Student Body
The school offers curriculum both in English as well as in the state language, Kannada. The Kannada medium hence has pre-primary, primary, higher primary sections. Whereas for the present English medium, we have pre-primary, primary, higher-primary and high school section. On public demand, the college education has been taken up as a priority. It should commence any time once the state of the art building that is in progress, is completed. Right now there are around 2,107 students frequenting these various school sections in the campus.
