Annual Sports Day

Champions aren’t made in the gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them – a desire, a dream, a vision. Annual sports day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Annual sports is the most awaited day for all the students. It’s a great and enjoyable day for the students whether they are participating in the events or performing in some other activity.

The sports programme began with the lighting of the Olympic torch, March past representing four houses (Red House, Blue House, Green House, Yellow House) led by the head girl and asst head girl followed by the address from the chief guest and the guest of honour. Students of std I to X performed the mass drill. Students of std I to V participated in competitive sporting activities followed by group events for the students of std VI to X, displaying their vigour and athletic talents.

The teachers also got an opportunity to prove their physical fitness by participating in a sportive game. They proved that age is no bar for winning on the tracks. The most exciting part of this happening day was the TUG-OF-WAR.

To conclude with, the winners of the day were awarded with medals and certificates. The annual sports day celebration was not just about winning or losing, but about celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie among the participants.
